My mother, Tim and I recently visited Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia for 10 days. This was our third year in a row and our best trip to date! This time we started in Moscow for the first 5 days and took the train to St. Petersburg for another 5 days. During these 10 days we tried to meet as many DECO instructors and members as possible. It was great to meet and get to know so many wonderful people in such a short time. Some of them came from other cities and countries near and far. It was a wonderful experience to share the same passion and energy of creating with DECO! So many talented artisans!!!
Thank you for sharing your dreams and stories about the way DECO has changed your lives!
Thank you so much to Olga Petrova in Moscow and Yulia Kornukova of Saint Petersburg, as well as their amazing team, whom assisted in so many things and made us so welcome during our stay. We cannot thank you enough for helping us to make these workshops such a success.
We had a chance to visit some instructors’ studios and meet with their team. Thank you for your invitation and for welcoming us into your DECO world!
Many days were spent intensely working together on clay techniques and new class projects.
We would like to thank everyone for putting so much effort and enthusiasm into this!
On several occasions, after the classes were completed, we were invited to see some major sites and to eat the cuisine of the region.
What a great experience to see and taste the culture from those who know best!
There are so many interesting and beautiful things to see and do all around!
Thank you again to all who came to see us and participated in our workshops during our stay in Russia! We promise to come back to see you again very soon! Maybe next time we can visit more of the surrounding countries??? Hope so!
