I had a wonderful time on the “Garden Island” of Kaua’i, in Hanalei. It’s such a beautiful island, with its many waterfalls and rainbows! I had the best time in my sleeping bag, under the stars, watching the stars at night, and with the sound of the ocean in the background. Times like these make me appreciate Mother Nature and all that she offers. If you ever plan to visit Hawai’i, make sure you island hop over to Kaua’i, it’s definitely one of my favorite islands to visit!
Right after my little R & R, I had to go straight back to work in
Japan, where the weather is sooo COLD! (A far cry from the weather in
Hawai’i) The winter sky in Japan has been very clear and the early winter full moon was the brightest I ever remember.
I’m here for 14 days to help my Mother with the renovations
at the head office, and to prepare for the new Flower Course III
projects. We have been working diligently to complete several
projects. Since I’m only here for two weeks, we’ve been working long
hours to get them done, and for them to be photographed, as well.
Good news! My Mother’s new book has arrived! The book encompasses
most of her works in flowers, figurines, baskets, and accessories.
This is a MUST SEE and a MUST HAVE! (We’ll have the books at the
studio by the end of January)
