Something blue…

We received a custom order for a wedding bouquet with a theme color of blue. For this order I made freesia, hydrangea, delphinium, blue star, rose, vanda and cymbidium orchids. I did my best to blend all the different hues of blue. I love getting a chance to work on colors! Blending colors with this clay is endless… especially when adding a touch of paint to accent the pieces making the flowers even more realistic. I was very happy with how this bouquet turned out. Giving my best wishes to the bride and all her family on this special day…

That most important person had a big birthday last weekend. So we took some time off and went to the north shore to spend the day there just to relax. It was just what we needed; rounding up the day with a surprise dinner with his friends made his “BIG YEAR” birthday so much fun! His smiles were priceless. Happy birthday Tim!!!

Gary and Chenli have been holding make & takes at Shirokiya in the Ala Moana shopping center for some time now. They have just begun to offer membership classes every Wednesday’s night from 6pm. They still continue to hold the make & take sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 9-3. It is a great location with lot’s of parking. If you’re looking for a tropical class during this time, please sign up.
