Oh Christmas Tree…

This year has been so busy that I sometimes forget to take a moment and…breathe! So, I finally decided to take a little “ME” time and went out shopping for the holidays and purchased a Christmas tree for our house. There’s nothing like a fresh live tree in the home to bring out the feeling of Christmas!

Are you a collector? I AM! I love to collect things and Christmas ornaments are one of my passions. This year I came upon the Martha Stewart line at Kmart. I was in holiday décor HEAVEN! The designs, colors, detail and quality was quite impressive. I found everything I needed! (except the tree stand, that sold out)

I also did some serious shopping at Anthropologie.com. They have the CUTEST things! So, I ended up ordering some ornaments there (a bit on the pricey side), that will be forever keepsakes. There are so many cute ideas, for inspiration, that I’m contemplating on creating my own Christmas ornaments next year! Wouldn’t that be fun?

I wanted to share a wedding order that I recently completed. The bride requested the use of Cymbidium Orchids and Hydrangeas with a soft lavender theme.

The use of pastel colors have always been a popular choice for brides. Maybe because it evokes femininity and it doesn’t distract…but then again, maybe because it’s just SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! (and that’s A GOOD THING) 😉
