I always enjoy finding new plants and flowers… Hawaii has so many varieties of tropical plants, flowers and trees to discover growing pretty much all year around. The most exciting time is right after winter when everything starts to bloom in the warmer seasons. It really inspires me seeing these green shades with different colors blending in some magic harmony; they are just so vibrant.

Give just the right amount of water and they reward you with abundant health and seem to grow right before your eyes. We just planted some large pink torch ginger and halekonia which I can’t wait to see how they bloom… but I must wait because they will bloom only when they are ready…
