I have been a polymer clay jeweler since 2007. In 2015, I discovered and fell in love with DECO. Since then, I create flowers using DECO clay and work with the clay I use for my polymer jewelry; I find working with both mediums very rewarding.
As I am one who enjoys creating big bold pieces, it is always nice to have a balance by creating delicate flowers. Lately, I am exploring some possibilities of creating light-weight jewelry using DECO clay.
What is your most memorable achievement with DECO?
In 2016, I presented my flowers for the first-time-ever to the public during a Craft salon in Lausanne, Switzerland. Seeing visitors' astounding reactions to the clay flowers was kind of a reward for me. And of course selling my first-ever flowers and receiving my first custom order.
What are your future goals as a DECO Instructor?
Spreading this beautiful medium in Switzerland where I currently live, and Mongolia, which is my motherland.
