Classes in California PART 2

Hi everyone!  Just a little update of how our classes went at PIECEMAKERS.  My mother and I had three FUN days of meeting so many nice people!  We were so pleased by all who attended, that have never worked with the DECO Clay, and who for the first time have taken our classes.  We want to give a big THANK YOU to PIECEMAKERS, the great staff (who always makes us feel welcome), and to all who stopped by.  🙂

Also, while in the Orange County area, we paid a visit to the offices of STAMPINGTON & COMPANY. (Well known for creating and publishing wonderful craft magazines)   We have been very fortunate to have been featured in some of their publications!  My Mother’s dolls were in ART DOLL QUARTERLY, and our flowers, in SOMERSET WEDDING and BELLE ARMOIRE JEWELRY.   In this particular visit, Jenny Doh, Editor-in-Chief and Director of Publishing for Somerset Studio, (Thank you Jenny, for inviting us once again!) wanted us to demonstrate, step by step, how to make clay figurines and flower bouquets. We would also like to thank Staci Dumoski, Managing Editor, for taking time out of her busy schedule to work closely with us!

It is so rewarding for us, to have opportunities like this, to be able to share our craft, thru quality publications such as theirs.  We will definitely share more of the details as to which magazine and issue we’ll be in…stay tuned! 🙂

As you all know, we are in Southern California, where currently, fires are threatening people and their homes (The Santa Ana winds are not helping matters any).  We are very concerned for the families who are and have been affected.
