As the holiday approaches…

Last Sunday was Macy’s (Ala Moana) invitation only “Night of Stars” special sale.  This yearly event showcases different vendors promoting their in store merchandise.

This year, we offered a holiday themed mini workshop.  One had a choice of making a snowman, poinsettia, rose or gardenia pin.  It was a great turnout!  Thank you to all who attended.

Another event that we will be participating in is the annual Holiday Craft Fair at the Mission Houses Museum, this coming Saturday and Sunday, the 29th and 30th, from 9 am to 4 pm.   We will be selling beautiful creations made by DECO certified instructors and will also have a table for Make & Takes.

If you’re looking for that special gift(s), this is an event you won’t want to miss.  Over 60 vendors sell their unique handcrafted items or wares, such as books, ceramics, clothing, jewelry, leis, wood crafts and collectibles.  Plus, there will be yummy food and entertainment, too!  So, please come and stop by our booth and say, “HI!”

On a different note, just wanted to let you know that we are almost sold out of our Christmas and New Years kits!  Our classes are filling up too, due to all who are busy with projects and making gifts for family and friends.  It’s so nice to see everyone at the studio!

As the holiday approaches, wait…it’s already here!  I just want to take this time to say how thankful and lucky I am to be living in Hawai’i.  It’s a great place to relax, which I’ve been trying to do lately.  We do get a different version of “winter” here.  We get more rain, and winter for me is when I see Diamond Head get greener. 🙂
